PREVIOUS RACING HISTORY
Made NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut for owner Mike Mittler in 2005, making eight starts overall by 2008. The 2007 season might have been one of Allgaier's most successful years in racing, beginning with a career-best third in the A-Main at the Chili Bowl, behind Tony Stewart and J.J. Yeley; he also won in ARCA, raced 18 times in UMP dirt late models with five wins and in 10 midget events had three victories. Began racing quarter midgets at age five and by age 12, had five championships and more than 100 victories. Graduated to midgets and micro-sprints, winning five times in the latter. At age 13, began racing UMP late models while still racing midgets. In 2001 made history as the youngest driver (14) to make the A-Main at the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa, Okla. Later that season, he raced 51 dirt late model races, winning twice. Made ARCA debut in 2002 with three races for family friend and NASCAR legend Ken Schrader, with a best finish of 11th. From 2003-05, ran limited ARCA schedules, winning first pole in 2005. Concentrated on ARCA over the next three years, moving from 10th in the standings to fourth and ultimately winning the 2008 championship for his family-run Allgaier Motorsports team. He overcame a 105-point deficit in the final race, snapping Frank Kimmel's series record of eight consecutive championships. Won at least one race in each of his last three seasons in ARCA, including six in 2008. At age 17 scored a memorable win over Schrader and Stewart at the dirt I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Mo.
