YEAR-BY-YEAR NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES RECAP
2011: Finished 17th in series points. Debut season with Rick Ware Racing began as soon as he turned 18, at Phoenix-1. Best start, 22nd three times, at Nashville-2, Lucas Oil Raceway, Atlanta. Best finish, 11th at Road America. Average finish of 24.2. Completed 92.1 percent of laps attempted. Engaged in season-long rookie of the year battle with Blake Koch and clinched award with better finish at Homestead-Miami finale.
PREVIOUS RACING HISTORY
In 2010, won nine races in Legends Cars and finished second in Charlotte's Summer Shootout Series championship; also made his debut for Rick Ware Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (one race) and West (two races) along with seven ARCA starts. Big year in 2009 - won the 2009 Allison Legacy Series national championship collecting 10 wins, also captured a Summer Shootout victory at Charlotte in Legends Cars, had two wins in Charlotte's Winter Heat Series and grabbed a Legends Cars title. In 2008, had four wins in Legends Cars and two wins in the Allison Legacy Series, where he finished fifth in points. Graduated to the Allison Legacy Series and INEX Legends Cars in 2007, with two wins. In 2006, moved to INEX Bandoleros, scoring 10 wins. Began racing karts in 2005 and won more than 80 events, including two World Karting Association championships, two King George championships and the Concord Speedway Winter Championship in addition to finishing third in the WKA national championship.

In June 2011, graduated from high school three days after finishing 15th and leading his first career series lap at Chicagoland-1. First stock car development driver in history of multi-faceted Rick Ware Racing. Father, Jerry Hill, had 68 starts between NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and ARCA before turning attention to his son's career. Turned 18 on the opening day of practice for his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut weekend, at Phoenix-1. Plays the trumpet. Favorite NFL team is the Washington Redskins.
