1981: Darrell Waltrip, in only his second time behind the wheel of a Junior Johnson-prepared car, wins the Busch Clash exhibition at Daytona International Speedway. Waltrip, who drew the pole position, leads 13 of the 20 laps in a Buick. Benny Parsons finishes second with Buddy Baker third in the seven-car field, the smallest in event history.
